Card Modes: Singe vs. Share
Single Mode
The concept of SINGLE mode is similar to prepaid cards, which require pre-loading with funds.
Funds must be deposited into the card in advance.
Single Mode Card Creation
-
When creating a Single Mode card, funds are transferred from the issuing account to the card.
-
During Single Mode card creation, if the issuing account balance is less than the
card_limit
, creation will fail.
Share Mode
Co-share the funds in the card issuing account and you can set specific card limit on a card.
The concept of SHARE mode is similar to debit cards, directly linked to the issuing account, with spending instantly deducted from the account balance, making them ideal for scenarios requiring direct access to funds while avoiding overdrafts.
Share Mode Card Creation
When creating a Share Mode card, no prior deposit is required. Therefore, even if the issuing account balance is less than the card_limit
, the creation will not fail.
